Anime of the Year 2013-III Summer - Servant x Service
Gin no Saji , Servant x Service and Kingdom 2nd Season are my favorites this season, but Servant x Service is more to my liking among new titles because of more mature characters and fresh focus. There are also honorable masterpieces Genshiken Nidaime and Gintama Movie 2: Kanketsu-hen - Yorozuya yo Eien Nare .
Anime of the Year 2013-II Spring - Shingeki no Kyojin
Shingeki no Kyojin is often called main anime of the decade for a reason. There's also a sprinking of honorable masterpieces - Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. , Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai. , Aku no Hana and Koukaku Kidoutai Arise: Ghost in the Shell - Border:1 Ghost Pain .
Anime of the Year 2013-I Winter - Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Next
Beginning of the year is slow on the uptake again. Only sequels like Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Next and Minami-ke interest me here.
Anime of the Year 2012-IV Fall - Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun is the best shoujo comedy that I know. Since there is a firm masterpiece this time, can lower score of Bakuman. 3rd Season a bit to comply. There is also a number of honorary masterpieces - Psycho-Pass , Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! and Ixion Saga DT .
Anime of the Year 2012-III Summer - Kingdom
Kingdom and Sword Art Online are genius masterpieces for me with Kingdom being the more grittier one.

Anime of the Year 2012-II Spring - Jormungand
Jormungand happens to be my only favorite this season.
Anime of the Year 2012-I Winter - Nisemonogatari
Not a single title that I deem worthy. If I needed to choose from the rest, it'd probably be Nisemonogatari .
Anime of the Year 2011-IV Fall - Bakuman. 2nd Season
I was even ready to rate Bakuman. 2nd Season lower if there was at least some other firm masterpiece in my opinion, but, alas. Another borderline masterpiece that I enjoy is Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai . Decided to finally drop all those childish Digimons and Battle Spirits and the like as I don't like their openings anyway.
Anime of the Year 2011-III Summer - Usagi Drop
Usagi Drop is the definite favorite here. But I also find Yuru Yuri enjoyable enough.
Anime of the Year 2011-II Spring - Steins;Gate
Steins;Gate is sort of must have anime to watch once. Other firm masterpieces this season include Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. and Tiger & Bunny . Hanasaku Iroha gets a honorary masterpiece which is a high score for a rural SOL anime.
Anime of the Year 2011-I Winter - Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica
Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica made a great impression on me, and Fractale is one little serious fantasy that did not age well, but is still pleasurable.
Anime of the Year 2010-IV Fall - Bakuman.
Anime in its prime. Bakuman. is inspirational and perfect. Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai and Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt are firm enjoyable masterpieces. And Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai is also memorable enough to have a honorary title.
Anime of the Year 2010-III Summer - Highschool of the Dead
I value Highschool of the Dead as a firm masterpiece and Amagami SS as honorary masterpiece.

Several borderline masterpieces spotted - Kaichou wa Maid-sama! , Working!! and Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail with Working!! taking a tender place in my heart.
Anime of the Year 2010-I Winter - Hanamaru Youchien
No big titles again, but among minor masterpieces I'd call Hanamaru Youchien and Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu
Anime of the Year 2009-IV Fall - Ibara no Ou
It happens so that only Sunrise movie Ibara no Ou was more or less curious for me.
Anime of the Year 2009-III Summer - Bakemonogatari
Bakemonogatari is the only honorary masterpiece for me this season for the sheer impact and novelty of it.
Anime of the Year 2009-II Spring - Souten Kouro
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (2009) and Souten Kouro are my favorites in Spring 2009. K-On! and Shangri-La are following slightly behind.
Anime of the Year 2009-I Winter - Druaga no Tou: The Sword of Uruk
Sequel Druaga no Tou: The Sword of Uruk is the only contestant this small season.
Anime of the Year 2008-IV Fall - Toradora!
Toradora! is the queeen of tsundere and a great anime, but Tentai Senshi Sunred is one of the best parody comedies out there despite seemingly low popularity.
Anime of the Year 2008-III Summer - Detroit Metal City
I enjoyed both Detroit Metal City and Lucky☆Star: Original na Visual to Animation this season, but original work wins, as usual .

Had serious doubts about including Vtuber games, but let's do it for volume. It's hard to call any visual novel a normal one this month.

Druaga no Tou: The Aegis of Uruk is a great inspiring fantasy . Also found Kure-nai enjoyable.
Anime of the Year 2008-I Winter - Ookami to Koushinryou
Ookami to Koushinryou is the only bright spot in this short season.
Anime of the Year 2007-IV Fall - Minami-ke
Gyakkyou Burai Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor , Minami-ke and Genshiken 2 are all considered minor masterpieces by me, but two of them had some representation earlier, so only Minami-ke is fresh new.
Anime of the Year 2007-III Summer - Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei , Stranger: Mukou Hadan and Piano no Mori all got minor masterpiece scores from me. Don't want to choose, so series wins over movies.
