Anime of the Year 2004-I Winter - Interlude
Among three titles with score of 9 only Interlude is a new title, so it takes the upper hand over sequels Koukaku Kidoutai: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG and Innocence , plus there's this great little series Mousou Dairinin that deserves a mention.
Anime of the Year 2003-IV Fall - Sakigake!! Cromartie Koukou
Lots of titles, lots of masterpieces. Gunslinger Girl , Gungrave and Jungle wa Itsumo Hare nochi Guu Final deserve a honorary mention as minor masterpieces, but my heart is with Sakigake!! Cromartie Koukou
Anime of the Year 2003-III Summer - Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu
Can't call anything masterpiece again. Let's point out Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu , maybe.
Anime of the Year 2003-II Spring - Texhnolyze
Many titles, but still no masterpieces. Texhnolyze is the closest one, as for me
