I'm kinda passive, so sorry for late response. Hooking methods have not changed apart of the fact that there is now Sugoi OCR program that I have not tested yet, to be honest (want to play one console emulated game with it) . Translation methods have indeed changed with Sugoi - Deepl or its hand-made engine - taking preference.

The only issue is he doesnt know how you were able to hook translated the PC-98 version since it let him . Anything you did with you emulator to get the Hook program to translates
