Dorama of the Year 2000-II Spring - Densetsu no Kyoshi
No masterpieces again since number of pieces is still too small. Densetsu no Kyoshi is the only drama this season that I watched to the end and that was inventive enough that I considered it as a masterpiece for some time.
Dorama of the Year 2000-I Winter - Omiai Kekkon
For my convenience purposes from now on excluding non-translated drama except special cases in addition to my usual genres exclusion or size becomes totally out of control by the end of 2000s. Failed to finish any drama this season except for taiga, so have to choose among the worst. Only jdrama are of good enough quality still, so among those I'd choose old-fashioned marriage comedy Omiai Kekkon .
Anime of the Year 2025-II Spring - Ling Long 2nd Season
Chinese anime dominates this season. Ling Long 2nd Season is a long awaited sequel. Yujin Xingzhe is a very promissing survival adventure in an unusual world, and I'd put even that over the only honorary Japanese masterpiece of the season - Kowloon Generic Romance .
Dorama of the Year 1998 - GTO (1998)
GTO (1998) ended up winner, as was expected, nothing from translated ones came even close to it, sadly.
Dorama of the Year 1997 - Love Generation (1997)
Love Generation (1997) ended up the only to my liking while Virgin Road (1997) is more of a honorary masterpiece.

Having excluded detective, vtuber, otome games, there's still nothing really complex left.

Only Itsuka Mata Aeru (1995) met my standards, and even that one barely, actually

Dorama of the Year 1994 - Kono yo no Hate (1994)
I rate both Kono yo no Hate (1994) and Kimi to Ita Natsu (1994) as small masterpieces, but the former definitely has more impact and plot development.
Anime of the Year 2025-I Winter - Übel Blatt
A-Rank Party wo Ridatsu shita Ore wa, Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyuu Shinbu wo Mezasu. and Übel Blatt are the only minor masterpieces that I spotted with the latter being of higher quality.

After all, only Kou Kou Kyoushi (1993) really stood out for me, but lots of nice yet not outstanding titles as well.

Sono Toki, Heart wa Nusumareta (1992) jumped out of the blue and totally nailed it this year.

Jewelry Nights Arcadia -The ends of the world- is the only title this month that at least tries to provide some story.
Dorama of the Year 1991 -Taiheiki (1991)
Taiheiki (1991) was very informative and surprising by the end for me, but other translated doramas of the year weren't good enough.
Anime of the Year 2024-IV Fall - Shangri-La Frontier: Kusoge Hunter, Kamige ni Idoman to su 2nd Season
As expected, nothing could come close to Shangri-La Frontier: Kusoge Hunter, Kamige ni Idoman to su 2nd Season . But for minor masterpieces, there are plenty - Dandadan , Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka V: Houjou no Megami-hen , Tensei Kizoku, Kantei Skill de Nariagaru 2nd Season , Party kara Tsuihou sareta Sono Chiyushi, Jitsu wa Saikyou ni Tsuki and even Kabushikigaisha Magi-Lumière .

January is basically half-month. With the nukige excluded not much is left.
Anime of the Year 2024-III Summer - Make Heroine ga Oosugiru!
In the absence of serious titles to my taste, there's a whole bunch of great comedies - Make Heroine ga Oosugiru! , Isekai Shikkaku , Murai no Koi and Long Zhong Ren.
Dorama of the Year 1990 - Sekai de Ichiban Kimi ga Suki (1990)
90s start slowly, but accelerate rapidly in releases, so can't observe decade as a whole. The winner by default is the only partially translated title Sekai de Ichiban Kimi ga Suki (1990).
Anime of the Year 2024-II Spring - Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai
Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai was the only flash in the darkness this time.
Dorama of the Year 1980s - Takeda Shingen (1988)
Takeda Shingen (1988) made a great impression on me while Tokugawa Ieyasu (1983) felt like a firm masterpiece that filled quite some blanks for me. I think I'll just rate everything not translated as 6 for convenience purposes and inability to evaluate, won't comment on those for the same reason except first few when I tried to squeeze smth.
Anime of the Year 2024-I Winter - Kingdom 5th Season
One of the best seasons of Kingdom 5th Season is the definite winner followed by more sequels Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun 2nd Stage and Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e 3rd Season . Ore dake Level Up na Ken is a honorary mention as it was mildly amusing despite multiple evident flaws. Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata is an inspiring start with much potential.
Anime of the Year 2023-IV Fall - Shangri-La Frontier: Kusoge Hunter, Kamige ni Idoman to su
Best season ever. Shangri-La Frontier: Kusoge Hunter, Kamige ni Idoman to su was perfect and defeated unbeatable Goblin Slayer II (only because it's a sequel). Saihate no Paladin: Tetsusabi no Yama no Ou sequel left better impression than original. And there is a whole scattering of minor masterpieces - Boushoku no Berserk , 16bit Sensation: Another Layer and Jin Zhan Fashi .

Rather sour month, as for me, but best titles are probably delayed for December.
